Sad Supper
Today we see Jesus eat what is the final meal before he dies. By sharing the bread and wine with his friends – Jesus explains that his death isn’t just about him. He is going to die so that they can live. His death is in their place – so they can become friends with God again
Just like the disciples – we can share in what Jesus death has brought. Forgiveness for the things we’ve done wrong – forgiveness for not treating God as King. We can now be friends with God again.
